Our Story

We’re Mezes Bakehouse - born from a simple family tradition. Since 2023, we’ve been baking gingerbread that’s less about the cookies and more about the moments they create.

The name Mezes means honey in Hungarian - a symbol of sweetness and care, just like the love we put into every batch of gingerbread we bake.

Our Baker

Hi, I’m Gabriella - I love baking and sharing.

For as long as I can remember, gingerbread has been part of our family’s Christmas. It marked the start of the season - a quiet tradition that filled the house with warmth and brought everyone into the kitchen.

Starting Mezes was my way of holding onto that feeling and sharing it with others. I still bake in small batches, using local ingredients and plenty of care - because that’s how it’s always felt right.

Each batch is personal - because it’s never just about the gingerbread. It’s about the connection it creates.
